  • My interests include pursuing research that works at the intersection of clinical, cognitive, and social psychology in order to examine sexual judgement, sexual perception, and sexual decision making in undergraduate college students. This research implements experimental manipulation in sexual cognition paradigms as well as administering assessments of sexual attitudes, behaviors, and identities via survey methodology. In addition, I am interested in examining factors such as risk status for perpetrating sexual aggression, perception of social norms, sexual history, sociosexuality, and consent-beliefs in conjunction with performance on different sexual judgement and decision-making tasks.  I am also interested in questions related to sexual and gender minority group status as well as those who identify as members of sexual subcultures (e.g., BDSM, Swingers, Fetishists, etc.).  The research skills that I am currently working on developing include measurement development, mixed effects modeling, and structural equation modeling.
